Candid Arts

Alfonso Rea Zonnedda was born in Sardinia in 1974.

In 2001 he graduated in painting at Sassari Fine Arts Academy.
In 2002 he received a two years grant from Sardinia Region to spend in art education, then he enrolled at Bisonte school where he gained an advanced qualification as a "Professional technician into art print and etching".
Meanwhile he had also attended many short courses and seminars about other printing techniques such as lithography, wood-cut and burin.
In 2006 he conducted a stage as a silkscreen printmaker at "G4 Pubblicità" studio in Lucca and the year before he was involved with "Fondazione Spadolini" by working in their Archive.

In 2009 he terminated the education by getting a Master degree in Visual Arts at "Accademia Albertina", in Turin.

Alongside his career he taught to adult and foreigners' classes at Bisonte school.As an artist he has been many times involved in Bisonte's Gallery exhibitions (2003, 2004) and many other competitions.
In 2007 he was invited to the Biennal of Etching in Santa Croce sull'Arno,Italy.

He now lives and works in Florence.
