About
Emanuele Lipira was born in Florence in 1984.
After studying art at the College he enrolled at Bisonte School in 2005 where he received a training as a professional Printmaker and Etcher,
the next year he decided to deeply practice etching and he specialized in colour print.
As an emerging artist he participated to several competitions and group exhibitions, including many "End of year"(2006,2007) displayed at Bisonte Gallery.
In 2006 he was selected for the "Etching International Prize Fabio Bertoni".
In 2007 was invited to the International Etching Prize "Acqui Biennale". The same year he was involved in the competition "Premio Santa Croce".
In 2010 he took part in "IV Biennale dell'Incisione Italiana Contemporanea di Campobasso".
In 2007 he worked as a printmaker in Guadalajara, Mexico in the art print studio "la torre de los grillos" and after that, he assisted the painter and etcher Pawl Carbonaro in his private studio in Malta.
Now he lives in Florence as an independent artist and also works as a freelance printmaker.
