Viewing suggestion: Lights off, headphones on and play loud. Sparks 4 is the latest piece from an ongoing body of work exploring the manipulation and abstraction of time, view, movement, size & sound on objects that emanate light. The changes in pace in this work asks the audience to re-consider and respond to the object’s fundamental elements and duration. The intention of the work is to comment upon the human condition, though not overtly, but also to evoke an individual, subjective response from the viewer.
